At the heart of the energy transition, Startec Energy is a French group of 100 people located in Merignac. Through three subsidiaries (Neogy, BMS PowerSafe, Clairitec), Startec Energy designs and supplies technologies to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles. Specialising in the design,development and industrialisation of sustainable electrical solutions, the group brings its expertise across the entire value chain (smart batteries, on-board electronics, energy conversion and industrial displays) and supports all professionals in the electrification of their products by providing complete, customised solutions.

 

In the midst of an industrial transformation, our subsidiary NEOGY, which specialises in the R&D design and industrial production of intelligent batteries that can be adapted to all technologies (Lithium-ion, Ni-MH, etc.) and designed for all types of stationary or embedded electrical applications, is looking for its future Business Developer.

Your role and missions:

As a Business Developer, you will play a key role in the growth of our company. Your main task will be to develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with our existing customers.

Your tasks:

  • Monitor market trends and competitor positioning
  • Targeting, prospecting and qualifying new customers
  • Commercial negotiations
  • Develop business with existing customers
  • Ensure a strong sales presence with prospects and customers
  • Taking part in various sales events (trade fairs, etc.)
  • Contribute to developing the image and reputation of companies in collaboration with the communications department
  • Ensuring that contractual conditions are properly applied throughout the life of the project
Required profile
  • With 5 years’ higher education in business or engineering, you have between 5 and 10 years’ proven experience in business development in an industrial environment (B to B).
  • Your perseverance and discernment will be key to your success in the job. You have good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of customer service. You have the ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs proactively.
  • Fluency in English required, other languages appreciated
  • B driving licence required

Terms

Conditions

  • Permanent contract
  • Working hours: 39h/week
  • Start date : ASAP
  • Location: Head office based in Mérignac, with travel in Europe and abroad
  • Remuneration: €4200 gross for 169 hours per month + target bonus
